Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure for your skin.
This procedure uses a device with thin needles to make tiny holes in the top layer of your skin.
The damage helps stimulate your skin’s healing process, so it produces more collagen and elastin.
These proteins keep your skin firm and smooth.
Microneedling can help improve the appearance and texture of your skin.
It can minimize stretch marks, scars, wrinkles and other skin concerns.
It doesn’t carry the risk of skin discoloration, unlike some facial rejuvenation procedures that use heat, light or lasers.
The skin may appear red, similar to a mild sunburn, with slight swelling.
This is totally normal and should fade within a few hours.
Most people return to normal activities immediately after treatment, but some may experience mild redness for up to a week.

Additionally, it should be avoided by pregnant women and those with a pacemaker.

After the treatment, avoid saunas, tanning, or sun exposure for 7 days.

The treated area may redden slightly and can take 2-4 hours to calm down for sensible skin.
